Hi,
Is the compression of cube is a part of a compression Job Monthly/Weekly?
when job is triggering Check with your BASIS/DB team to closely monitor the Job and Analyze the Job Log from DB end.
This may be due to Memory space issues which Basis Team can Help or may be DB related issues.
If possible for any cube try to compress manually and check the logs.
