Hi Ajay,
Thanks for the reply but
Below is my complete steps
FG & Semi Finished materials are with price control S but cost estimate is not done prior to MRP RUN. These FG & Semi finished materials are project stock materials or special stock.
They just update Standard price as 0.01.
- 1. Create a quotation
- 2. Create a sales order with multiple lines (say 2)
- 3. Create a project for one sales order and under that they create one Main WBS Element
- 4. Under that Main WBS, They create 2 WBS elements each representing one sales order item number
- 5. They will assign FG Materials under WBS as component
- 6. They will assign this wbs elements in against each sales order line item.
- 7. Then they run MRP- PR- PO.. this New Prod.order will be one to one mapping with WBS Element.
- 8. In Prod.order order, they assign WBS Element as Cost object.
- 9. Then they do actual confirmation & GR gets posted. But here issue is GR gets posted with 0.01 Price as it’s done 101 movement type. This is wrong posting but reason for this is material has no standard price. Issue NO.1
- 10. Now business wants to get GR posted with actual cost or target cost ..which they actual confirmations. Issue No.2
- 11. As cost object is WBS, material master does not get updated with total planned price of Prod.order .
- 12. Business wants to see actual cost or at least planned cost in VPRS Condition in sales order so that when they do billing they get this value which is currently not working as there is no standard cost in material.
Our analysis & plan to do is : when we do production order confirmation via C015 T.code, planning to include new code with logic to add the quantity (based on confirmations & add up price +activity cost and also calculate Over head on based on confirmed items (by looking into OH Key assigned in material master . after adding up all total.. update the MBEW- LPLPS Field so that GR is posted with this actual cost & same time VPRS Condition gets updated.
My doubt is how to get up to this logic.. Need details of USER Exits /Functional modules etc.. wherein I can add up the above logic
Thanks
