Hello Vinay,
What is the date format that your object is having which dates. Also how you are selecting the Year is it through Prompt or some Input Control.
If your selection is prompt you can make use of UserResponse() and apply the same on to your report filter with appropriate manipulation on Date object.
Please share a screen shot so that we get a clear picture on this.
