What you describe is possible by using stock transfer special procurement type.
In your DC1 you have to create one special procurement with stock transfer linked to Manufacturing plant PL1. In your DC2 you have to create another Special Procurement with stock transfer linked to PL1.
Then once the forecast is loaded in your DCs: DC1 and DC2, the MRP will communicate the demand to your manufacturing plant PL1 using stock transfer purchase requisitions. At the same time the MRP will create planned order in PL1 for the demands communicated by your DCs.
