Termination EE in Payroll?

There are few employees terminated for whom time evaluation was processed from go live date for a time report.However EE was unexpectedly processed in payroll also.In IT3 whenever the time evaluation is processed it shouldn't impact payroll processing but why are these employees picked in payroll?Also these employees had bonus info activated in IT3.
