Yes. I used a very small value, but you use the amount thta you want, and yes for the JE.
For the story, this is what we were obliged to do as consultants, with version 2007A when SAP redesigned the internal reconciliation engine: we had issues with withholding taxes and it was (and still it is) the only way to manualy reconcile transactions.
