Take a look on question 1 of FAQ note 540834:
Question: I can no longer settle orders. How can I archive them (set the deletion flag) despite this?
Answer: You should always settle orders if it is possible to do so. For more information with regard to this, see Note 140672. In exceptional cases, it may be necessary to also archive orders without settling them. To do this, specify the settlement profiles in the order type of the relevant orders (transaction OPJH) and change them from "To Be Settled in Full" to "Can Be Settled". Then archive the orders. When you do this, ensure that only orders that are not to be settled are archived. Then change the settlement profiles to the original settings again.
