How to write error message in payroll function while running the payroll ?

Dear SAP Guru's,

I have to create Custom Payroll Function, in that i have to restrict particular employee who is not eligible for that and throws an error,

Error message should skip that employee only and for rest of the employees payroll should run,

Please suggest me where should i write logic in payroll function or in schema ?
