There is a German purchase order but the standard text footer is only available in English?
For this example, if standard text is only available in English, then you can print text only in same language. If you are trying to print it in German it won't print, as text is not available in DE language.
So, you will have to make sure that you main translation for SO10 texts in DE language, so smartform/script can find it at run time and display it.

When you give this command it means, you are passing language as EKKO-SPRAS. If it is DE, it will try to search SO10 text in DE language, if it not available it will not print it.
SO10 text is not converted based on what language you pass, you need to maintain it through translation.
