Hi,
Number of individuals in work center increases the Work center capacity.
for exapmle you're work center capacity is 10 Hours with one individual, if you put 2 individuals then over all capacity will increase to 20 hours.
so the capacity of you're work center is 20 hours.
if you want to produce 100 quantity (Ex: in routing you have given that the operation time is 10 hours for base quantity 20 quantity, it takes 10 hours for 20 quantity) so to produce 100 quantity it will take 50 hours but you're work center capacity is only 20 hours per day so it will take 2.5 days to produce 100 quantity.(50 hours/20hours = 2.5days)
in the routing if you have given any splits say for example you have given 2 splits the 50/2= 25 hours or1.25 days..
